Logitech acquired controller maker Loupedeck

Logitech has announced that it has bought Loupedeck, a controller manufacturer. The terms of the deal were not disclosed. The acquisition of Loupedeck will add to Logitech's product portfolio and accelerate its software ambitions to make keyboards, mice and other peripherals smarter.

This is reported by Business Wire.

In 2019, Loupedeck launched the functional text editing console Loupedeck CT. The manufacturer then moved into streaming video with the Loupedeck Live and Lopedeck Live S. The devices offer an alternative to Elgato's Stream Deck, which content creators use to add titles, images and more to live broadcasts.

Logitech said the acquisition of Loupedeck will allow it to provide a premium experience to content creators, including gamers and streamers. Logitech promises compatibility between Streamlabs software and Loupedeck devices.
